A brief examination of Sai Baba's offerings
“I am engaged in the task for which I have come. I shall not stop. I am full of bliss. Many hesitate to believe that things will improve, that life will be happy for all and the Golden Age will return. Let me assure you that This Divine Body has not come in vain. It will succeed in averting the crisis that has come upon humanity.”
Resolution
The primary cause of man's unhappiness is the mind and its multiple desires. The clutching of the human mind is the cause of much unhappiness.
Sai Baba teaches that man has forgotten the pathway to blessedness. It is to restore that pathway and indeed, turn it into a highway, that Sai Baba announced his mission in South India, in 1940.
Sai Baba says, if you take one step towards me, I will take ten steps, nay,
a hundred steps toward you. Shed one tear, I shall wipe a hundred tears from your
eye.
I am closer to you that the eyelid is to the eye.
Sai Baba offers the resolution of human misery.

Sai Baba recalls the first time he spoke with his devotees and followers as a teacher.
The first lesson I taught was: 'know you are in the cycle of birth and death; then, fix on a Guru or on a Name and Form of God which appeals to you. Lastly, dwell on his Glory, sing songs to this Glory, and do it with all your mind'.
He or she who is deluded by this world of seemingly real is the real sufferer; She or he who knows this is only relatively real is the true spiritual seeker.
Sai Baba offers to all persons who follow any spiritual path with effort, devotion and integrity, release from the world of suffering and cycle of birth, death and rebirth.
A Path Through Life
The five human values of Truth, Love, Peace, Right Conduct and Non-Violence as taught by Sai Baba exist in the teachings of all the major religions of humankind.
These teachings are transcendental; they exist permanently in all three phases of time, time past, time present, and time future.
These values apply to all compartments of human life, and all aspects of human behaviour. They form the touchstone of human life, morality and progress.
Those who uphold the Truth first, will be protected by Truth itself. Those who uphold and practice Right Conduct will be protected by that righteousness in all times and in all places.
These five human values permeate school, family, work, business, play, friendships and relationships. They are the foundation of human life, which is inherently spiritual and divine. Practising the five human values confers true humanness and nobility, a path through life which cannot be conferred by any other set of values.
Joy and Peace
Sai Baba teaches that Love and Sacrifice take humanity to immortality. Selflessness is the vision and the goal that erases personal misery and the misery of others.
This truth-in-action is known and felt as a practical benefit by all who do selfless service in the community.
The benefits are known and felt as Joy and Peace. These arise from personal sacrifice of time and talents in the community and ensure bliss along with escalation up the ladder of spiritual growth, advises Sai Baba.
A Future with World Peace
The teachings, the mission and the love and grace offered by Sai Baba create a future of hope for all who walk on earth, and those yet to be born. This day and age, Sai Baba calls 'the Golden Age', an era of untold peace on Earth, an era in the human family where all recognise the Brotherhood of Man and the Fatherhood of God.
