Road Transport
RTC is organizing number of Shuttle services from Railway Station to various alighting points around the Ashram. ( In addition to the existing Bus Stand near the Ashram Gate, 3 temporary Bus Stands are being set up for peak days, at MRO Office, Chitravathi Road near Water tank, and at West Prasanthi Outgate outside Sheds area.)

Taxi
Prashanti Nilayam is only 110 kilometers from the new Airport. It is recommended to travel direct to Prashanti Nilayam, as the highway will soon be divided road - two lanes each side.

The Railway Station, with four platforms, is called Sri Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam, (Acronym SSPN) and is host to as many as 18 trains per day in each direction. AIRLINE SERVICES TO PUTTAPARTHI
Domestic
As 11 November 2010, no domestic airlines have offered services to Puttaparthi for 36 months. The Sathya Sai Airport is closed to normal domestic flights. All domestic air travel is to Benguluru (Bangalore) airport, then take taxi or bus to Prashanti Nilayam.
